Breen Newcomer - P
A thirteenth-round selection (303rd overall) out of the University of Oklahoma by the Boston Red Sox in the 1975 Amateur Entry Draft, Newcomer took the mound at Muzzy Field for the Bristol Red Sox during the 1977 season wearing number 16.
As of 2007, though unconfirmed, Breen Newcomer went on to become Sports Editor for his native Oklahoman newspaper and has since moved on to the Portland Oregonian in the same role.
